A “SPECIAL” ISSUE OF CHEMISTRY INTERNATIONAL

Immagine1The volume n.2, 2023 of Chemistry International (https://iupac.org/etoc-chemistry-international-apr-june-2023/ ), the IUPAC news-magazine, "speaks" Italian. In fact, three Italian contributions to international initiatives are highlighted. Juliana Vidal and João Borges, organizers of the Global Conversation on Sustainability, in illustrating the events organized worldwide, talk about the video created by the Italian YOs Research for Sustainability, in which they have shown their research proposals for sustainability (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRclYbfhyKE). Then there is the article by Silvia Borsacchi, Matteo Guidotti, Alessandra Sanson, Alessandro Minguzzi, Andrea Pozzi, Augusta Maria Paci, Francesca Kerton and Maurizio Peruzzini, on the event organized by the NAO-CNR and supported by a IUPAC CHEMRAWN project, dedicated to the figure of Alessandro Volta and the key role of electrochemistry, from the past to the future. The event held in Como on 24 October 2022 was included in the program of initiatives for the International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development. Finally, a contribution coordinated by Silvia Borsacchi on the 1st Italian-French International Conference on Magnetic Resonance, sponsored by IUPAC for its inclusiveness and transversality, held in Milan from 27 to 30 September 2022.
